The vdp statistics pages provide data on the development of vdp member banks’ real estate, public-sector, ship and aircraft lending business.
In addition to quarterly data on residential and commercial property lending, the information includes annual data on Pfandbrief banks’ public-sector, ship and aircraft finance business. In addition, gross residential lending business of the entire banking industry in Germany is presented. The data published is based on information provided by the vdp’s member banks and on calculations based on data from the banking and insurance associations and the Deutsche Bundesbank.
