Ship finance
Since the Pfandbrief Act (PfandBG) entered into force in July 2005, all credit institutions with a corresponding license to engage in that business may use the Ship Pfandbrief as a refinancing instrument. The banks which make up the vdp are among the market leaders in ship finance.
